Ok so like everyone talks about ethical fashion like its just some buzzword or trend “oh look at me i wear organic cotton” and post on Instagram, but its way bigger than that. like seriously its about thinking where your clothes come from, how they made, who made them, how it affects the planet. we all seen those sweatshop horror stories right? ethical fashion is like trying to say “hey humans matter too” and also “maybe planet matters too” simple idea but not always easy.
Slow fashion beats fast fashion
Fast fashion everywhere cheap, trendy, but kinda awful if u think about it. stuff made in a week, shipped from who knows where, worn twice maybe, thrown away. disaster for environment, workers underpaid, materials cheap, toxic sometimes. ethical fashion like slow coffee of clothes. takes time maybe cost more but usually better quality, people treated fair, less pollution. i bought a recycled jacket once, felt heavier and sturdier than H&M hoodie lol. hurt wallet but felt worth it.

Cant ignore celebrities. Emma Watson, Stella McCartney, influencers posting sustainable outfits, recycled materials. reaches millions who wouldnt think otherwise. ppl online roll eyes sure but awareness exists. even if marketing partly, at least people talk about sustainability, ethics, choices.
More than clothes
Ethical fashion also mindset. caring about planet, workers, waste. not just “look trendy eco” or feed Insta. i bought second-hand once for fun, ended up learning recycling, reusing, cost to environment. small habits, patch old jeans, skip new ones. little stuff.
